Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Shipping Technician to prepare, package, and ship outbound materials in a fast-paced, climate-controlled warehouse. You will use mobile scanners to pull inventory, verify accuracy, and generate shipping paperwork while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

The role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior forklift experience and familiarity with UPS/FedEx/LTL systems are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate order picking.
• Basic computer skills for labels and shipment docs.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with UPS/FedEx/LTL systems is a plus.
• Experience with WMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare outbound orders per instructions.
• Use scanning devices to pull parts from inventory.
• Verify product accuracy and quantities before shipment.
• Stage and load shipments safely following procedures.
• Generate shipping labels and documents (BOL, etc.).
• Maintain clean, organized shipping area and equipment checks.
• Operate forklifts in compliance with training.
• Assist with cycle counts and other warehouse tasks.
• Communicate delays or issues to Warehouse Manager.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards.
