Job summary

Converted Products, Inc. is seeking a Shipping Specialist to perform final packaging, labeling, and quality checks on shipments. You will coordinate with production and customer service to ensure packaging meets specifications and maintain accurate material receipts.

The role requires reading a ruler to 1/32 inch, basic computer skills, and forklift operation. A High School diploma and experience in manufacturing are required, with shipping experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Preferred: 1 year of shipping experience.
• Strong English communication, accuracy and organization skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and be a team player.
• Able to read a ruler to 1/32 inch and perform unit conversions.
• Basic computer skills to operate labeling software and UPS program.
• Forklift operation capability.

Responsibilities

• Stretch wrap, band, box and other final packaging per customer specs.
• Label final skids or boxes for shipment.
• Perform quality checks against packing slips and bills of lading.
• Photograph skids on trucks as a final quality check.
• Coordinate with production or customer service to ensure packaging meets specs.
• Unload and receive materials; verify quantities against packing slips and bills of lading; report damages.
• Quarantine FDA materials for Quality department and log receipts.
• Apply labels to received materials and fill material receipt forms.
• May fill in for Material Handler as needed.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized.
