Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to operate in the warehouse, receiving, storing and delivering goods across the warehouse and production areas. You will track materials through the supply chain and support efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, receiving supplies, validating goods with invoices, processing bills of lading, stocking according to storage requirements, and coordinating with suppliers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in Warehouse.
• 2+ years of experience driving a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the proper loading, unloading and handling of goods and materials.
• In charge of receiving supplies and materials into the warehouse.
• Validating the received materials and goods with the invoices to ascertain the precision of the goods delivered.
• Ensuring the completion of all paperwork relating to the received goods and processing the bills of lading, etc.
• Ensuring the proper handling and stocking of goods in compliance with warehousing and storage requirements.
• May assist in monitoring the warehouse records and inventory and filing reports of discrepancies in quantities and damages to the supervisor.
• May coordinate with suppliers regarding the shipments and delivery of orders.
• Follow plant specified job specification and task list.
