Job summary
Borg Design Inc. is seeking an experienced Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to manage movement of materials and finished products in our precision manufacturing facility.
You will coordinate shipping, receiving, documentation, and ERP records while ensuring compliance with aerospace and export-control requirements. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong document-control discipline and data-entry accuracy.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and carrier platforms.
- On-site role in a precision manufacturing shipping environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare shipments with carrier labels, BOLs, and required documentation.
- Coordinate daily logistics with national and international carriers; schedule pickups.
- Package, label, and protect finished products per requirements and quality needs.
- Receive inbound material, verify part numbers and certifications before inspection.
- Maintain ERP records for receiving, shipping, and tracking activity.
- Coordinate shipments with external locations and ensure proper documentation.
- Handle customer returns and reverse-logistics per procedures.
- Monitor shipment errors, costs, and carrier performance; suggest improvements.
- Maintain organized shipping area and stock of packing supplies.
- Perform additional duties to support department needs.
