Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Sheeter Operator to convert master rolls into precise sheets for our high-speed presses. You will set up, thread, and monitor the machine to ensure accurate cuts and consistent sheet dimensions.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to work the 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:00 AM, Sunday–Thursday), with initial training on day shift (6 AM–2 PM, Monday–Friday).

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools for adjustments.
• Commitment to safety and capable of operating powered equipment.
• Able to stand 8–12 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:00 AM) with potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Set up and thread machines according to work instructions.
• Monitor machine performance and maintain tension, cuts and sheet quality.
• Perform quality audits for squareness and defects.
• Troubleshoot jams and web breaks; adjust for smooth operation.
• Manage roll stock data and pallet labeling; operate forklifts as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe workstation and GMP compliance.
