Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. is seeking candidates for an on-site Production Operations role. You will set up equipment according to safe techniques, inspect tooling, assist operators, and maximize throughput while maintaining quality.

You will also submit maintenance requests and keep work areas clean daily. You will communicate professionally with customers and adhere to GBP quality policies to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year minimum relevant experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the corrugated industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set-up equipment accurately and in accordance with proper and safe setup techniques.
• Inspect all tooling before and after run to ensure repairs are made before next run; minimize waste.
• Assist Machine Operator in operating machines to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Maximize equipment utilization by operating at available capacity and speed.
• Submit maintenance work orders for needed repairs.
• Complete daily and weekly equipment clean-ups.
• Provide recommendations to optimize schedule for cost, quality and service.
• Perform continuous quality control by random material checks on size, printing and folding.
• Abide by all policies and practice safe work habits.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Adhere to GBP quality policy to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
