Job summary

Boon Edam Americas is seeking a skilled CNC Laser and Press Brake Operator to set up and run complex sheet metal fabrication processes. You will edit CNC programs, set offsets, and fabricate parts to engineering drawings on a fast-paced production line.

You will read blueprints, measure with calipers and micrometers, and ensure quality while meeting production schedules. This role requires teamwork, safety discipline, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree a plus.
• 3–5 years of CNC laser and press brake setup and operation experience.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints.
• Use of calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and protractors.
• Team-oriented with clear English communication and strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Physically able to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Deep understanding of workholding, tooling, and safe machining practices.
• Self-motivated multitasker with basic computer skills and Windows navigation ability.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC laser and press brake equipment and edit programs and offsets.
• Fabricate parts to specifications per engineering drawings.
• Maintain accurate materials inventories and handle material safely.
• Inspect parts and document quality checks.
• Cross-train across operations and assist in training less-experienced staff.
• Prepare and stage products for the next internal customer.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and compliant with procedures.
