Build the next 50 years with usWe’re a long-established manufacturer entering a new era under forward-thinking leadership. After five decades in the industry, we’re just getting started. If you’re an experienced sheet metal fabricator who thrives in an employee-centric environment and wants genuine room to grow, this role is for you.A day in your work bootsYou kick off your shift reviewing blueprints and work instructions. You map out your layout, choose the right tooling, dial in machine settings, and get to work forming, bending, cutting, drilling, deburring, and assembling precision components to exacting tolerances. Your calipers and micrometers never leave your side as you verify dimensions, inspect workmanship, and document each job step. When you spot a potential drawing discrepancy, you loop in engineering or quality. Throughout the day you rotate between the press brake, punch press, shears, saws, and drills—always following PPE and equipment safety procedures, keeping your area clean, and aligning to AS9100 processes. You collaborate closely with production, engineering, quality, and other teams to deliver parts that meet specification the first time. What you'll doInterpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.Lay out, measure, form, bend, cut, drill, deburr, and assemble sheet metal parts.Set up and run press brakes, shears, punches, saws, drills, and related fabrication equipment.Select proper tooling; determine machine settings for accuracy and repeatability.Produce parts to specified dimensions and tight tolerances.Use precision measurement tools—calipers, micrometers, scales, gauges—to validate work.Inspect finished pieces for dimensional accuracy and quality.Perform drilling, countersinking, riveting, fastening, and other mechanical assembly.Surface and escalate fabrication or drawing issues to supervisors, engineering, or quality.Accurately complete production and job documentation.Follow established quality procedures and AS9100 requirements.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; comply with PPE and equipment safety.Work cross-functionally with production, engineering, quality, and other manufacturing groups. What you bringExperience in sheet metal fabrication or precision manufacturing; 1–2 years preferred (not required).Ability to read/interpret blueprints and engineering drawings with confidence.Hands-on experience setting up and operating sheet metal fabrication equipment.Working knowledge of forming methods, tooling, bend allowances, and shop practices.Proficiency with precision instruments and working to close tolerances.Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and quality-first mindset; able to make appropriate adjustments.Organized, detail-oriented, able to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.Dependable attendance; collaborative, self-motivated, able to follow directions.Basic computer literacy; able to learn new software tools.High school diploma or vocational training preferred (not required).Must be at least 18 years old; able to lift up to 75 lbs; able to stand for an 8-hour shift.Aerospace/defense or AS9100 environment experience is a plus.Proficiencies and equipmentProficiencies: Aerospace Manufacturing, Bend Deductions, Fabrication, Precision Sheet Metal.Equipment: Amada Punch Press, Amada Press Brake, Stamping Press, Roll Forming Machine, Measurement Gauges, Profile Roller. How we invest in youCompetitive pay package.Company-paid annual training for continuing education.Career growth supported by a professional development plan.Employee recognition programs.Health, dental, and vision insurance; sick and vacation leave; onsite gym; and more.401(k) with a generous employer match.Collaborative, entrepreneurial team environment. If you’re highly organized, collaborative, and excited to grow with a modernizing manufacturer, we’d love to meet you.
