Job summary

Boon Edam Americas is seeking a skilled CNC machinist to translate drawings and programs into precise parts on 2–3 machines. You’ll load, run cycles, unload, clean, and inspect, while building fixtures to improve safety and repeatability.

With 3–5 years of CNC and manual machining experience, Blueprint fluency, GibbsCAM knowledge, and a hands-on approach, you’ll help mentor teammates and uphold strict quality and housekeeping standards in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years on CNC and manual machines; GibbsCAM experience preferred.
• Blueprint fluency; adept with calipers, micrometers, tape measures.
• Deep knowledge of workholding, tooling, and safe machining practices.

Responsibilities

• Loading, initiating machine cycles, unloading, cleaning, and continuously inspecting parts.
• Fabricating part-holding fixtures to improve safety, quality, and repeatability.
• Material handling that prioritizes safety, product protection, and equipment care.
• Executing to schedule and supporting teammates through cross-training and mentoring.
• Performing and documenting quality inspections and required testing.
• User-level maintenance and impeccable housekeeping.
