Job summary

Boon Edam Americas is seeking a dedicated CNC Machinist to operate alternating CNC and manual equipment on a fast-paced shop floor. You will set up workholding, select tooling, and verify part accuracy against drawings, using GibbsCAM where applicable.

The role requires 3–5 years of CNC experience, blueprint literacy, and strong measurement skills. Expect daytime and evening shifts, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have blueprint literacy and a solid ability to read drawings.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and interpretation of tolerances.
• Proficiency with CNC/manual machining and safe shop practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple CNC and manual machines concurrently while maintaining tolerance.
• Set up complex workholding and tooling for repeatable parts.
• Validate program accuracy with sample runs and document results.
• Troubleshoot with G-code edits and offsets to meet production requirements.
• Load, cycle, unload, clean, and inspect parts for the next process.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and keep a clean, organized workspace.
• Cross-train and coach less experienced machinists.
