Job summary

Alfa Laval seeks an on-site repair technician in Greenwood, IN. You will disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble machines to specification, and set up test stands to verify performance. Balancing rotating equipment and documenting results are required, with occasional field service.

The role calls for a High School diploma with about 3 years in repair/manufacturing, plus ability to read blueprints and use micrometers. forklift ops and welding knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Typically 3 years in manual repair/workshop/manufacturing.
• Experience with vibration balancing is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and use micrometers/measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble machines to spec.
• Operate test stands and measure performance against standards.
• Balance rotating equipment and document results.
• Follow quality plans and communicate repair needs.
• Light field service may be required occasionally.
