Job summary

Flowserve seeks a Customer Product Repair Mechanic to disassemble, repair, and assemble rotating equipment, high energy actuators, pumps, and related machinery. You will follow work instructions, routers, and drawings while using precision measuring tools to assess component wear and condition.

This role requires accurate documentation, the ability to read prints, and collaboration with service coordinators, engineers, and customers. OT and proper tool handling are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to inspect, repair, and assemble components.
• Read and interpret prints, shop drawings, and checklists.
• Own a set of personal SAE hand tools and a roll-around toolbox.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, dial indicators, calipers).
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and assemble diverse equipment per instructions.
• Document wear and condition of components in DCI and assembly forms.
• Take process photos and ensure components are cleaned and prepared.
• Coordinate with service coordinator, planners, and customers.
• Perform low pressure and high pressure tests as required.
• Operate balance machine to balance rotating parts.
• Use power tools, torches, and nitrogen safely.
• Inspect finished and in-process work with precision measurement tools.
• Read and interpret assembly instructions and drawings.
