Job summary

Flowserve US Inc. seeks a Customer Product Repair Mechanic to disassemble, repair, and assemble rotating equipment, high energy actuators, pumps, and decoking gear. You will inspect critical components, document wear, and prepare units for shipment.

Responsibilities include following procedures, using precision tools, and coordinating with service coordinators and customers. A valid HS diploma and 3-5 years relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma / GED and 3-5 years relevant experience.
• Must own set of personal SAE hand tools and measurement instruments (micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, etc.).
• Able to read and interpret prints, shop drawings, assembly checklists, and other written work instructions.
• Basic computer skills including understanding of Microsoft Office Package.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds with a full range of hand and upper-body motion.

Responsibilities

• Follow pre-job brief, Return Goods Policies, and checklists prior to DCI and assembly.
• Independently inspect, repair, and assemble components and equipment with accurate documentation.
• Take pictures of the DCI process and assembly, and note component wear on forms.
• Interface with service coordinator, production planners, and customer.
• Follow routers and assembly procedures.
• Run balance machine to balance rotating components and assemblies.
• Perform low/high pressure tests and verify quality with precision tools.
• Read and interpret prints, shop drawings, and inspection checklists.
