Job summary

Microwave Products Group is hiring for an onsite assembler in Salisbury, MD. The role involves building and inspecting electronic components, following BOM and MOP procedures, and using soldering irons and microscopes to ensure product quality.

You will read drawings, crimp and solder parts, and perform go/no-go inspections with various test equipment. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6 months' related experience or training, and IPC/J-STD certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 6 months or related experience or specialized training.
• Previous soldering experience or skills required.
• J-STD or IPC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and follow production drawings or verbal instructions.
• Position and align parts in jigs or fixtures as instructed.
• Solder, crimp, weld, or join parts using appropriate tools and procedures.
• Connect component leads to PCBs and other components according to schematics.
• Perform on-line go/no-go testing and inspection using magnification and test equipment.
