Job summary

Microwave Products Group (MPG) is seeking an experienced assembler to build and test electronic assemblies to spec. You will read complex drawings, assemble parts with precision, and perform on-line go/no-go testing with microscopes and measurement tools.

The role requires basic math, interpretation of schematics, and experience with soldering. Join a team focused on quality, process adherence, and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months related experience or training.
• Previous soldering experience required.
• J-STD or IPC certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and follow production drawings or verbal instructions.
• Position parts in jig or fixture as directed.
• Crimp, stake, screw, weld, solder, cement, or join parts using tools.
• Connect component leads and wires using soldering or related bonding procedures.
• May assemble hardware such as caps, knobs, switches.
• Perform intermediate assembly tasks (potting, encapsulating, cleaning).
• Adjust or trim materials to meet specs; conduct go/no-go tests.
• Record data on logs, time sheets and documentation.
