Job summary

Granite State Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Inspector to read blueprints, determine dimensions and tolerances, and verify machined and assembled parts. You will perform receiving inspections and ensure conformance to specifications, supporting first piece and in-process inspections.

The role requires basic knowledge of geometric tolerances, strong measurement skills with calipers, micrometers, and height stands, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, export-controlled

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets work instructions and blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Interprets Geometric Tolerances and uses measuring equipment to verify dimensions.
• Completes receiving inspection of components and verifies conformance to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supports first piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Reads blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Verifies dimensions using verniers, calipers, micrometers, and height stands.
• Writes reports on inspection and testing results.
• Ensures compliance with Quality Management System and safety policies.
