Job summary

The Mesa Chamber of Commerce seeks detail-oriented Quality Inspectors to support our Quality department. You will ensure molded and machined parts meet company and industry standards throughout the manufacturing process, including first piece, receiving, in-process, and final inspections.

You’ll work hands-on with precision measurement equipment and apply product specifications to maintain our commitment to high-quality production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math and measurement skills with calipers and micrometers.
• Some technical training or relevant mechanical inspection experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines.
• GD&T knowledge and ASQ certification are a plus (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections using precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gage blocks, etc.)
• Interpret and apply blueprints, GD&T symbols, and customer/industry specifications
• Complete and maintain accurate inspection records and non-conformance reports
• Follow Quality Management System procedures in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and AS 9100 standards
• Identify, document, and control non-conforming products
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized production environment
