Job summary

Granite State Manufacturing in New Hampshire is seeking a detail-oriented inspector to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints, determine dimensions and tolerances, and verify machined and welded parts meet specifications. You will use gauges and measuring tools, perform receiving, first piece and in-process inspections, and contribute to the Quality Management System.

The role requires knowledge of GD&T and the ability to work across departments in a fast-paced, high-precision

Qualifications

• Baseline knowledge of geometric tolerances.
• Proficiency with measuring equipment and QA procedures.
• Eligible to access export-controlled information under ITAR.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to read blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supports first piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Completes receiving inspection on components.
• Reads blueprints or specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Verifies dimensions with measuring equipment.
• Writes inspection reports and maintains QA records.
• Supports Quality objectives and QMS.
• Studies drawings to determine tolerances.
• Ensures conformance of finished parts.
• Collaborates with other areas to ensure product conformity.
• Maintains professional, safe, and clean work environment.
