Job summary

Granite State Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to interpret GD&T and blueprints, program CMMs, and verify tolerances on machined and welded parts. You will use height gauges and other inspection tools to ensure conformance to specifications.

The role supports multiple inspection stages, documents results, and collaborates with Manufacturing and Engineering to resolve quality issues in real time.

Qualifications

• Interprets blueprints and applies GD&T to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Operates, sets up, and programs CMMs and related inspection tools.
• Performs precision measurement across machined and welded parts.
• Documents defects and communicates nonconforming conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supports first piece, in-process, final, and FA I inspections.
• Interprets specifications to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Measures using verniers, micrometers, CMMs and height gauges.
• Records inspection results and communicates findings with teams.
