Job summary

Granite State Manufacturing in Nashua, NH, is seeking a quality inspector focused on GD&T, CMM-based verification, and conformance testing for machined and welded parts.

The role emphasizes interpreting blueprints, performing inspections, and supporting production flow with advanced measurement equipment like Mitutoyo CMMs and FARO Arm in a collaborative, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Two-year college/tech school certification or 5 years related experience.
• Ability to operate, set up, and program Mitutoyo CMMs as applicable.
• Must interpret and apply GD&T to tolerances.
• Team player who can also work independently without supervision.
• Must be eligible for U.S. government security clearance.
• Experience with inspection, plating and coating processes is a plus.
• Export-controlled information: U.S. Person status or authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Supports First Piece, In-Process, Final and F.A.I. inspections.
• Interprets blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Verifies dimensions using micrometers, CMMs, height gages, and other tools.
• Measures angles, radii, heights and thread leads as specified.
• Documents nonconforming conditions and communicates results.
• Operates Mitutoyo CMMs and FARO Arm where applicable.
• Collaborates with Manufacturing and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and adheres to GSM policies.
