Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Carrollton, TX to ensure parts meet drawings, specs, and quality standards. You will perform dimensional inspections with precision tools, execute FAIs, and prepare detailed inspection reports to support production release and customer compliance.

The role requires hands-on experience with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and related inspection equipment, plus strong documentation and teamwork across Production, Engineering, and Supply

Qualifications

• Experience as QA/Quality Inspector in manufacturing settings such as machining or fabrication.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and GD&T features.
• Ability to create inspection reports and NCRs with traceability.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections using precision tools on incoming, in-process, and finished parts.
• Verify parts against drawings, tolerances, and GD&T features.
• Conduct and document First Article Inspections (FAI) and First Article Reports.
