Job summary

Ultra Corpotech Inc. in Conroe, TX seeks a QC Inspector with hands-on experience using FARO Arm/Laser Tracker to support dimensional inspection in sheet metal fabrication.

You will validate parts against CAD drawings and generate inspection outputs. The role requires GD&T mastery, program development for FAI, in-process and final inspection, and collaboration with engineering and production to drive quality improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; metrology or FARO certification preferred.
• 1–3 years hands-on FARO Arm or Laser Tracker experience.
• 3–5 years quality inspection experience in fabrication or machining.
• Valid and recent certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-precision dimensional inspections using FARO Arm to validate parts against CAD models and drawings.
• Develop, execute, and maintain inspection programs for FAI, in-process verification, and final inspection.
• Must be able to create programs for new parts to support NPD activities.
• Ability to integrate measurements into workflows and deliver deviation reports and color maps.
• Interpret GD&T requirements to establish datums, inspection strategies, and acceptance criteria.
• Document and report inspection results, including non-conformities, and support root-cause analysis with teams.
• Maintain calibration and proper maintenance of FARO equipment; support audits and ISO/AS9100 compliance.
