Job summary

RTCA in Chatsworth, CA is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure conformance with drawings and AS9100/ISO standards. You will use precision tools and document results to support quality objectives in a precision manufacturing environment.

You will inspect with micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and CMMs, maintain records, support FAI/AS9102 processes, and contribute to continuous improvement with

Qualifications

• Experience reading drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Proficiency with inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process parts, assemblies, and finished components.
• Interpret drawings, specs, and GD&T per AS9100/ISO standards.
• Document inspection results and maintain traceability records.
• Support or lead FAI and AS9102 documentation activities.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams on containment and root-cause actions.
