Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a QA technician for the night shift to ensure product labeling accuracy, proper portioning, and correct meal bagging prior to shipment. The role involves close collaboration with production to verify recipe specifications and maintain QA standards.

Responsibilities include on-the-line checks, visual inspections of portions and meals, and ensuring proper line setup and packaging accuracy. Prior food quality experience is preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience working in food quality is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and quality of all product labeled, portioned, meal bagged, and shipped by performing on-the-line QC checks against recipe specs and QA sheets.
• Conduct hourly visual inspections of portioned ingredients and meal bags for accuracy and shelf-life compliance.
• Verify line setup, box contents, and label accuracy; communicate issues to production and QA leadership.
