Job summary

PSI Molded Plastics Indiana Inc is seeking a Full-Time Technical Quality Control professional in Wolfeboro, NH. The role ensures injection molded parts meet customer specifications and oversees training, audits, and adherence to in-process procedures across manufacturing operations.

You will perform first-article and in-line inspections, verify non-conforming material, and maintain documentation and samples for startup and production. Strong detail orientation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field, or equivalent related experience.
• 2+ years’ Quality Control experience in a Lean manufacturing environment strongly desired.
• Injection Molding experience is a plus.
• Certified Auditor or some Auditor training is a plus.
• Knowledgeof ISO 9001:2015 requirements a plus.
• Must be able to manage Document Control workload with minimal supervision.
• Use all basic precision mechanical measurement equipment including FARO Arm, calipers, micrometers, comparators, bore gages, etc.
• Must be familiar with quality practices and procedures, (i.e. sampling plans, tolerance, functional testing, and visual inspections).
• Comfortable reading blueprints and customer related drawings.
• Strong computer literacy skills with working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, project management and manufacturing software.
• Must possess good communication skills, written and verbal, and must be able to interact with customers and employees.
• Strong attention to details, highly organized, able to multi-task.
• Must be punctual and dependable, able to work with little supervision. Must be able to maintain files in a neat and orderly manner

Responsibilities

• Determine all new production jobs meet customer requirements, (i.e. material, color, size, additives, assemblies, packaging, etc.).
• Assure operators are trained and comply with in-process procedures, (i.e. trimming, assembling, packaging, etc.).
• Perform 1st piece, in-process, and final audit inspections of products during the manufacturing process. Makes recommendations to approve/reject samples based on conformance requirements.
• Verify any non-conforming material or products are corrected and documented.
• Maintain all samples for start-up and final product.
• Perform customer mandated testing and related documentation.
• Serves as liaison between internal PSIMP departments and customers
• Document all work instructions and quality control documentation. This position is responsible for all document control activities for the facility.
• Participate in creating a culture of cooperation, support, continual improvement and overall team success.
