Job summary

PMM is seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to oversee quality across plastic injection molding processes. You will lead inspectors, implement QC protocols, and drive continuous improvement with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires ISO 9001/13485 experience, hands‑on use of quality equipment, and familiarity with ERP systems like IQMS. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years in a quality engineering role within plastics injection molding.
• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and problem-solving.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 audits.
• Use of IQMS (or other ERP systems).
• Experience with quality equipment (CMM, MicroVu, calipers, micrometers).

Responsibilities

• Lead inspectors and verify duties per procedures.
• Provide training, documents, and tools for quality duties.
• Develop and implement QC procedures for molding processes.
• Regularly inspect lines, equipment, and finished products for compliance.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and design to drive improvements.
• Analyze quality data to identify defects and root causes.
• Prepare quality documentation and corrective actions for audits.
• Approve products for shipment per standards and customer requirements.
