Job summary

International Medical Industries is seeking a quality inspector to perform in-process visual and dimensional inspections on injection molded parts. You will measure with micrometers, calipers, and comparators to ensure conformance, maintain records, and communicate defects.

The role requires translating drawings/specifications and guiding operators. We value experience leading inspection teams and prefer ASQ certification.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• ASQ certified quality inspector preferred.
• Experience leading inspection or measuring teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process visual and dimensional inspections on injection molded parts against standards.
• Measure dimensions using micrometers, calipers, and comparators to ensure specifications.
• Maintain inspection records and prepare a defects list; communicate with other departments.
• Provide guidance and transfer inspection skills to injection molding operators.
• Report quality problems to QA leadership and ensure containment and corrections.
