Job summary

PSI Molded Plastics in Wolfeboro, NH is seeking a Program Manager who will be the primary customer service advocate during the new business development phase, managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver world-class tooling and production processes.

Qualifications

• Education and experience as described in the posting, including engineering background and ease with project management.
• Experience managing projects involving injection molded plastics and automotive suppliers is a plus.
• Knowledge of 3D CAD modeling software and mold flow software is a plus.
• Tooling background would be a definite plus.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling software and mold flow software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the customer experience, timeline, and deliverables across the project lifecycle.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage APQP processes to ensure on-time launches.
• Facilitate design reviews and tool design decisions with engineering leadership.
• Deliver turnkey tooling, systems, and production processes to the operations team and resolve issues prior to SOP.
• Manage ECOs and provide updates to customers in a timely manner.
• Ensures cost objectives are met (BOM cost, tooling, engineering, and ECO budgets, etc.)
• Provide timeline updates to the customer as needed but at a minimum of every two weeks in a Gantt chart format.
• Is encouraged to be an active participant in all tool samplings, must attend all in house T0 tool samplings.
• Observe runoff of overseas tooling prior to approving tool shipment.
• Travel as needed to support customer needs and visit tooling and other suppliers to ensure the quality of tool construction and that customer timelines and project objectives are met.
• Provides customer support for any issues related to the assigned program(s).
• Continues to be a technical resource supporting the project until the end of production.
• When necessary, escalate within the organization to ensure customer and project objectives are met.
• Manage ECO’s for assigned projects and accounts.
• Technical resource supporting new business quoting activities
• Present quotes to customers for house accounts
• Participate in customer Quarterly Business Reviews
• Understand and promote the use of new technologies effecting our industry
• Always promote PSI as a world class injection molding source
