Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician to support our manufacturing operations.

You will assemble composite and prosthetic components with precision, work with quality and engineering teams to address challenges, and maintain accurate documentation throughout the production cycle. You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, adapt to changing schedules, and ensure clean, organized work areas while supporting inventory control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of assembly, production, or hands-on technical experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality; ability to follow precise specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble composite components and orthotic/prosthetic devices according to specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect assemblies for defects and dimensional accuracy; escalate quality issues quickly.
• Record work progress and quality findings in production tracking systems.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering to solve assembly problems and improve processes.
• Maintain organized, clean workstations and manage inventory with accuracy.
• Respond promptly to changing production schedules and customer requirements.
• Provide feedback on process barriers and participate in continuous improvement discussions.
• Support problem-solving efforts and team projects to enhance efficiency.
