Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a fabrication-focused technician to work in a small workshop, away from the exam room. You will fabricate and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices, using a range of hand tools and small equipment, and assist with inventory and patient education.

The role emphasizes hand skills, attention to detail, and teamwork in a collaborative clinic environment across our national O&P network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Technical training or 2 years of fabrication experience preferred.
• Experience with hand tools and workshop equipment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Use appropriate hand tools to fabricate and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices.
• Order and receive inventory and perform related tasks.
• May fit and deliver prefabricated orthoses such as cervical supports.
• Educate patients on application, care, and outcomes of DME products as instructed.
• Contact vendors to order materials and maintain stock for fabrication.
