Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a fabrication-focused associate to work in a small workshop environment, away from the exam room. You will fabricate orthotics and prosthetic devices, collaborating closely with clinicians and patients to adjust and repair components.

The ideal candidate has hand skills, mechanical aptitude, and experience with hand tools. Training and safety are emphasized, with opportunities to learn advanced fabrication processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training program preferred or two years' related experience.
• A valid driver’s license may be required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to fabricate and repair orthotic and/or prosthetic devices.
• Perform ordering, receiving, and other inventory tasks.
• Fit and deliver prefabricated orthoses and other items as needed.
• Educate patients on the application, use, care, and expected outcomes for DME products.
