Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a fabrication-focused team member to craft and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices in a workshop setting, working closely with Clinicians and patients.

You will use hand tools, experience with band saws, drill presses, vacuum systems, heat guns, and speed routers, and manage ordering, receiving, and vendor communications while educating patients on device use per physician instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver's license and driving record within policy.
• Technical training school or 2 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and repair orthotic/prosthetic devices using hand tools.
• Handle ordering, receiving and inventory tasks.
• May fit and deliver prefabricated and off-the-shelf orthoses.
• Educate patients on DME product usage and care as instructed.
• Contact vendors to order fabrication materials and maintain inventory.
