Job summary

Hanger is seeking a fabrication-focused associate to work in a small workshop away from the exam room. You will fabricate and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices, using a variety of hand tools and equipment under clinician guidance.

Ideal candidates have strong hand skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to manage tasks and work as part of a team. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and patient-focused outcomes in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Technical training school or 2 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use appropriate hand tools to fabricate and repair orthotic and/or prosthetic devices.
• Perform ordering and receiving and other inventory tasks as assigned.
• May fit and deliver prefabricated orthoses and related items.
• Provide education to patients on the application, use, care, and outcomes of DME products.
• Contact vendors to order fabrication materials and maintain inventory.
