Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear, Inc. is seeking dependable Packagers to join the team. You will follow production instructions, visually inspect products, and package items into boxes. You will operate boxing machines, maintain clean, safe work areas, and assist in other duties as needed.

The role requires steady performance, basic math and reading skills in English, and the ability to stand for a full shift in a non-climate-controlled shop.

Qualifications

• Able to lift, move, and position parts and materials safely.
• Must follow timekeeping policy and company rules.
• Must stand and perform tasks for the full shift in a non-climate-controlled shop.

Responsibilities

• Follow production instructions from sheets, blueprints, or verbal directions.
• Visually inspect packaged products for conformance to specs.
• Package products and components into boxes and cartons.
• Operate boxing machinery per specifications.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE; use crane/buddy system for heavy parts.
• Assist in other areas or departments as needed.
