Martin Sprocket & Gear, Inc. is seeking dependable Packagers to join our team. You will follow production instructions, visually inspect, and neatly package products in a fast-paced shop environment.

Candidates must stand for long shifts, handle light and heavy items, and adhere to PPE and safety protocols. 2nd shift offers a pay premium and opportunities for growth within a global leader in power transmission components.

Qualifications

Requires average math skills and the ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English.
Must be physically able to work with hands to lift, push, pull and position components.
Must follow company policies and timekeeping rules.
Ability to stand for an entire shift in a non-climate-controlled shop.

Responsibilities

Follow production instructions and tasks from process sheets, blueprints, or verbal directions.
Visually inspect products for conformance to requirements.
Package products and components into boxes and cartons.
Operate boxing machinery per specifications.
Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE; use crane or buddy system for heavy parts.
Assist in other areas or departments as needed.
