Job summary

5 Horizons Group is seeking an Order Management & Sales Operations Specialist to ensure retailer orders move smoothly from receipt to shipment. You will manage order details, support retailer setup, and assist our sales team and independent representatives with timely responses.

Qualifications

• Experience in order management, sales operations, customer operations, or a related role.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with confidence following up across teams.
• Proficiency in Excel and comfort working across business systems.
• Experience with NetSuite, EDI, or retailer portals is a plus.
• Experience in consumer products, wholesale, or retail is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter, review, and maintain customer orders, including item, quantity, pricing, ship date, and routing details.
• Track orders through allocation, fulfillment, and shipment; resolve holds, discrepancies, and delivery risks with the appropriate teams.
• Coordinate new retailer and account setup, including required forms, customer requirements, and internal system information.
• Support sales leaders and independent representatives with order status, product information, availability, samples, and customer requests.
• Maintain accurate customer, item, and order records in NetSuite and related systems.
• Monitor open orders and provide clear updates on changes, exceptions, and next steps.
• Help prepare sales reports, customer recaps, and materials needed to support retailer meetings and follow-up.
• Identify recurring order issues and recommend practical improvements to the process.
