Job summary

Aurora Surgery Centers LLC is seeking a Surgical Technologist I to support the operating room team in Wisconsin. You will help prepare and assist with a wide range of procedures, ensuring sterile technique and equipment readiness, while maintaining patient safety throughout the perioperative process.

Basic Life Support is required within 6 months, and completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program is expected.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to meet Surgical Technologist I competencies.
• Familiarity with and adept at procedures within the specialty.
• Proficient in maintaining a sterile field and instrument handling.

Responsibilities

• Performs all types of procedures and maintains advanced knowledge of a variety of procedures.
• Sets up and operates equipment per physician specifications.
• Maintains sterile field and assists with gowning, draping and instrument passing.
• Ensures a clean, safe, and efficient operating room environment.
• Participates in call coverage and ongoing departmental training.
