Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in visually inspecting optical components and using metrology tools to ensure tight tolerances.
• Familiarity with optics principles and the impact of precision on performance.
• Able to work with various computer software programs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all day-to-day work in the production optics lab.
• Ensures daily quota of production runs are met.
• Package and ship optical components.
• Operate equipment to manufacture high volume production parts.
• Inspect lenses using metrology equipment.
• Record inspection data, labor hours and job information as required.
• Maintains clean and organized work area and machines.
• Will follow production SOPs precisely.
