QED Technologies is seeking a Junior Optics Technician to support setup, operation, and maintenance of grinding, polishing, and metrology equipment. You will work under experienced technicians and follow established procedures to develop hands-on skills for advancing roles within precision optics manufacturing.

Requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality; on-site position located in Rochester, NY.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing/optics/quality inspection or related field.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsabilités

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of optical components.
• Record production and inspection data and maintain records.
• Support technicians and engineers with manufacturing and process development.
