Job summary

ASML is seeking a skilled optical technician to polish precision optics on conventional spindles and verify finished parts for accuracy. The role requires attention to detail, safe handling of fragile optics, and hands-on measurement using precision tools.

You will document actions across shifts and maintain a clean, safe environment in a high-value manufacturing area. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and basic math skills; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous optical spindle polishing knowledge is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Intermediate mathematical skills including basic math and geometry.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Polish optics on conventional spindles to required specs.
• Inspect and test optics with appropriate equipment.
• Perform blocking and unblocking of parts.
• Work with pitch, pressing out and cutting laps.
• Perform visual inspection of optical components to ISO standards.
• Measure work-pieces using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges, etc.
