Job summary

ASML in Wilton, CT is seeking an Optical Polisher for a front end night shift to polish precision optics and inspect finished pieces. You will use conventional spindle polishing machines, measure with micrometers and Zygo interferometers, and ensure parts meet ISO standards while maintaining safety and documenting shift activities.

Experience with SAP is a plus; a High School Diploma is required; strong math skills and the ability to work in a team are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic math and geometry skills are required.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Previous optical spindle polishing knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Polish precision optics on conventional spindles.
• Inspect and test optics using equipment.
• Measure work-piece conformance per ISO standards.
• Maintain safe operating environment and PPE.
• Document actions and communicate across shifts.
• Notify supervisor of discrepancies.
• Follow English work instructions and blueprints.
• Use measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, dial indicators.
