Job summary

ASML in Wilton, CT is seeking a skilled optical spindle polishing technician to work on front end nights. You will polish precision optics on conventional spindles, inspect finished parts, and verify conformance to ISO standards while maintaining a safe, clean manufacturing environment.

The role requires reading blueprints, using micrometers and calipers, and collaborating with engineers. Prior optics experience is a plus; high school diploma or GED is required; SAP knowledge is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Previous optical spindle polishing knowledge is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Intermediate mathematical skills including use of basic math and geometry.
• Knowledge of SAP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Polish precision optics on conventional spindles.
• Inspect and test optics using a variety of equipment.
• Verify the accuracy of finished product.
• Follow written and verbal English work instructions.
• Read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Measure workpieces with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators and height gauges.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the work area.
