Job summary

ASML in Wilton, CT seeks an Optical Surface & Mechanical Inspector to visually and mechanically inspect optics and support processes. You will fabricate and assemble high-precision optical components for semiconductor lithography equipment, maintaining safety and organization.

Key duties include operating CNC milling, grinding, polishing, coating deposition, and metrology to feedback during processing. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School or Trade School graduate or G.E.D.
• Intermediate mathematical skills including basic math, geometry and trigonometry
• Familiar with Windows 7, MS Office & SAP
• Prior optical inspection/fabrication experience preferred
• Familiar with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges; CMM, angle tool, wedge and optical run-out measurements are a plus

Responsibilities

• Work safely on fragile, high value optics and materials
• Manufacture and supply ASML products per specifications
• Improve existing products and processes
• Ensure quality and standardization; drive efficiency
• Provide visual surface inspection of optical components
• Document and communicate actions across shifts
• Maintain safety procedures and regulations
