ASML is seeking an Optical Surface & Mechanical Inspector in Wilton, CT. The role focuses on visual and mechanical inspection of optics, supporting processes, and contributing to product development with a high degree of precision.

Responsibilities include safe handling of fragile optics, accurate manufacturing according to specs, and cross-shift communication to ensure continuous quality. A clean-room environment and PPE are required, with potential travel and exposure to solvents and lasers.

Qualifications

• High School or Trade School diploma or G.E.D.
• Intermediate math including geometry and trigonometry
• Familiar with measurement tools: micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges
• Experience in optical inspection/fabrication preferred
• Familiar with CMM, Angle Tool, Wedge and Optical run-out measurements are a plus
• Able to read and follow written/verbal English instructions describing processes and measurements

Responsabilités

• Work safely on fragile, high-value optics and related materials
• Manufacture and supply ASML products per established specifications
• Improve existing products and processes and guide new implementations
• Ensure quality and standardization while contributing to efficiency improvements
• Provide visual surface inspection of all optical components to meet standards
• Document actions and communicate needs across shifts
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations
