Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a vocational trade preferred.
• Prior experience in manufacturing a plus.
• Experience using measuring equipment (microscopes, calipers, micrometers, CMM, interferometer).
• Participation in continuous improvement efforts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate optical processing equipment with ownership and safety.
• Handle delicate optical components and identify abnormalities.
• Maintain 5S standards in the work area and tools.
• Identify unsafe conditions and report quality concerns promptly.
• Record time and attendance accurately and support production schedule.
• Collaborate with engineering and management to improve efficiency and quality.
• Train new or existing employees as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
