Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a vocational trade preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with measuring equipment (microscopes, calipers, micrometers, CMM, interferometer) is desirable.
• Participation in continuous improvement efforts (kaizen, quality circles) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and own optical processing equipment.
• Handle delicate optical components and identify abnormal characteristics.
• Maintain area, tooling, and equipment to 5S standards.
• Identify unsafe conditions and quality concerns in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to improve efficiency and throughput.
