Job summary

ASML is seeking a processing technician to fabricate advanced optical components for semiconductor lithography. You will machine, grind, polish, coat, align, and inspect components, following safety and 5S standards.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail and teamwork to meet production schedules. Shift: Front End Nights 6pm–6am, four days on, three to four days off; clean room environment; travel may be required; must be work authorized in the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a vocational trade preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing settings preferred.
• Experience using measuring equipment (microscopes, calipers, micrometers, CMM, interferometer) desirable.
• Participation in continuous improvement efforts (quality circles, kaizen).

Responsibilities

• Monitor optical processing equipment and take ownership.
• Handle delicate optical components with care.
• Maintain area and equipment to 5S standards.
• Identify unsafe conditions and raise concerns.
• Ensure product and process quality issues are addressed promptly.
• Support production schedule execution.
• Collaborate with engineering and management to improve efficiency.
• Learn progressively challenging products.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Inspect glass surfaces and map defects.
• Clean optical surfaces from particles.
• Record time and attendance accurately.
• Assist training new and existing employees.
