Job summary

ASML Wilton is seeking a Milling, Grinding and Polishing Group Leader for the Compressed Work Week Front End Night shift (Sunday–Tuesday, alternate Saturday 6pm–6am) in Wilton, CT. You will manage 15+ optical technicians, drive on-time, high-quality optics delivery, and lead continuous improvements with Production and Development Engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma required.
• Bachelor degree in science or engineering preferred.
• At least 5 years of supervisory/leadership experience in manufacturing or 5 years of direct optics fabrication experience.
• Strong Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience with cross-team collaboration.
• Computer proficiency with MS Outlook 365 applications, with knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP system.
• Familiar with ISO9001 and ISO14001; direct working experience in an ISO certified environment desirable.
• Prior optical fabrication experience a plus, but not required.
• Strong manufacturing operation acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 15+ optical technicians across multiple work centers.
• Set up a detailed production schedule within the Manufacturing Plan.
• Drive improvements to process efficiency and product quality.
• Ensure safe, on-time delivery of high quality optics.
• Mentor and develop team members with performance goals.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering and Development Engineers.
• Administer timekeeping and performance reviews.
