Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled Multi-Spindle Machine Operator for 2nd shift (Mon-Wed 3:50pm - 3:05am, Thu 3:50pm-10:05pm) with paid lunch. The role involves setting up and operating multi-spindle lathes or automatic screw machines and reading blueprints to produce precision components from bar stock.

We value mechanical aptitude and willingness to develop skills; prior experience with multi-spindle or screw machines is a plus.

Qualifications

Experience operating or setting up multi-spindle lathes, automatic screw machines or similar high-volume bar-stock equipment.
Read blueprints, job orders and tooling instructions.
Install and adjust collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops and tooling.
Set or adjust speeds, feeds and machine controls.
Inspect first pieces and production parts to specifications.
Replace and maintain cutting tools.
Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to keep production running safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate single- and multi-spindle machining equipment.
Machine precision components from metal bar stock.
Read blueprints, job orders and tooling instructions.
