Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is hiring a CNC Machining Specialist for a 4-day, 10-hour shift (Mon–Thu, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM) in the Sugar Bush, WI area. The role emphasizes independent setups, precision inspection, and ownership of a dedicated workstation, with opportunities for Friday overtime.

Requires 3–5+ years of CNC experience on VMCs/HMCs or Mazak turning centers, strong print reading, and a stable work history.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years CNC setup and operation depth on multi-axis VMCs, HMCs, or CNC turning centers (Mazak experience a plus).
• Print reading and quality inspection mastery with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and thread gauges to inspect your own work.
• Stable employment history with long-term commitment to past employers.
• 2nd shift alignment for a 4x10 schedule (Mon–Thu 3:00 PM–1:00 AM) with optional Friday OT.
• Proactive and accountable mindset with practical troubleshooting on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Execute independent machine setups: complete setups, tooling changes, work-offset adjustments, and operations on CNC machinery using drawings and process docs.
• Operate advanced multi-axis equipment: VMCs, HMCs, and Mazak turning centers.
• Part verification and precision inspection: machine and inspect tight-tolerance components to prints and tolerances.
• Maintain dedicated workstation ownership: monitor wear, perform routine PMs, and keep area safe.
• Collaborate for floor efficiency: coordinate with 2nd shift lead and maintenance to maximize uptime and flow.
